Inner-City Flooring has a one year installation warranty on all approved material. Approved material is listed on our Products Page and has been purchased through Inner-City Flooring. The Installation warranty covers any installation deficiencies caused by the installer.
Installation warranty does not cover, scratches, squeaks, impact damage, or damage due to improper cleaning and maintenance. Cleaning and maintenance are specific to your flooring type, all specifications and directions should be followed that are set out by the manufacture. Broken, kicked or knocked off transitions including stair nosing's are not covered under warranty. Regular wear and tear on the flooring will not be covered.
The is guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and proof of purchase is required for all claims.
Claims for wear must show a minimum dime sized area. This guarantee is pro-rated based on the
amount of the time the floor has been installed. I
Once a warranty issue is noticed and filed you have 30 days to respond and confirm a walk through. Not being available during regular booking hours or failing to agree to a date can void your warranty. If you think you have a claim please submit through the claim form at the bottom of this page to start the process.
General wear and tear, Silicone and colour Fill is not included in installation warranty and falls under care and maintenance.

Policies
Installation packages only include basic installation on a ready to install surface, product and underlay if required. Levelling, furniture, baseboards etc., are not included and are additional charges.
Parking needs to be made available near the site, move all personal vehicles away work site.
It is the customers responsibility to make a cutting area available ahead of time, balcony, garage, driveway etc. Deliveries require a 4x4 foot area for a pallet drop in a garage.
Adult over the age of 18 must be present at the beginning of the installation to approve the work order and any unforeseen extras. If not, the installer will do the appropriate work and the extra amount will be added to the invoice.
Levelling is assessed on site after the original flooring is removed and is not part of any installation package. The amount of levelling is depending on the condition of your substrate floor or concrete and the material chosen.
Changes in design must be made prior to arrangement of material delivery. Changes made after this time may result in additional charges or delays in installation.
We are not responsible for paint touch ups due to installation, have a retouch up plan in place with your painting contractor to finish baseboard painting, stair walls or scuffs from installation. Baseboards or moldings that require removal to install the flooring if damaged are not the responsibility of the installer or Inner-City Flooring.
Our installers will sweep up after installation customers are responsible for dust clean up and wet mopping the floors after installation. We do not provide furniture covers or plastic during installation that is the responsibility of the customer.
Roaming Animals (dogs, cats, pigs etc.) should not be present during installation days. Please arrange for them to stay with a friend or be at a pet daycare during the day.
Flooring that is soiled with biological waste will be an additional charge to remove and will not be disposed of by the installer, the customer will be responsible for properly disposing of the material.
Stair nosing's at the top landing are scribe cut tight and filled when click in option is not available.
Stairs, nosing's, and other transitions need 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before walking on them. Transitions are not covered under installation warranty.
Door jams/Casings, we are only responsible for the height of the flooring being installed. If door casings are left short due to flooring height difference that is the responsibility of the customer.
Furniture manipulation is charged per room. The installers will only move large, emptied furniture items. All boxes, small items and nick-knack's need to be stored in another area.
Older toilets may have disintegrating waterlines that may need replacing and are not the responsibility of the installer.
Baseboard installation is of baseboards in raw condition, sanding, painting, caulking and silicone is the responsibility of the customer. Shoe moldings are classified as baseboards. If there is no baseboard work on your estimate shoe moldings are not included as well.
Fireplaces with rock/stone/porcelain etc. bases, will be cut as tight as possible and silicone with the closest colour match silicone or shoe molding will be used.
Dishwashers are not removed, kick plate is lifted and floor is put under to appear as if it is continuous to the back wall.
Floor squeaks, we will do our best to eliminate any problem areas but cannot guarantee it will rectify the problem.
Custom stains are only a close as possible match.

Damages to property are the responsibility of the customer to prove with photo evidence. Any damage done to large appliances or furniture will be prorated based on the age of the item damaged. Precious items, artwork, or paintings is not covered under any policy and needs to be removed from the site into storage or another part of the house that is not being renovated.
If it is not stated on your estimate or invoice it is not included.
Material that is not used will be left for the customer but is not guaranteed.
